Volunteer Opportunities

Home Build

This position assists our contractors with building new homes for families in our community. This is a great opportunity for large groups seeking a one to three-day volunteer opportunity.

Steps to get involved.

Step 1

Complete our volunteer application online or download the application and return it via mail to PO Box 1311, Newport, OR 97365; via email at office@habitatlincoln.org; or in person at our ReStores or affiliate office.

Step 2

Complete the online Lockton training course(s) titled "ReStore Safety and Loss Control for Volunteers" and "Volunteering on a Habitat for Humanity Job Site" found under 'Recommended Courses'. The access code is W8NAEBTG. After completing the course, please click "Finish" and then enter your information so that our office receives the certificate(s) when it is completed. 

Step 3

Ready to volunteer? Sign up on our volunteer calendar!

Please register at least a week in advance. If you need to cancel your shift, cancel your shift at least a day in advanced. You can cancel your shifts through the confirmation email you have received after you've submitted your volunteer registration.
