our core values

Collaboration - We purposefully build partnerships to achieve common goals, fostering volunteerism and strong relationships to build a better community.

Integrity - We act with honesty, authenticity, and compassion to foster a culture of ethics and respect that embodies our work and serves the community.

Sustainability - We are responsible stewards of our financial, material, natural, and human resources, using innovation, inspiration, and responsiveness to achieve excellence.

What We Do

Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln County works toward our vision by building strength, stability and self-reliance in partnership with families in need of decent and affordable housing.  Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage.

We also provide home repairs for low-income families, focusing on safety, accessibility, and home preservation.  Clients pay a portion of material costs, with a sliding scale based on income.

We partner with the community on disaster recovery efforts, with a primary focus on supporting low-to moderate-income families on their journey to homeownership or home repairs.

We engage with volunteers and secure donated or discounted materials and services whenever possible.  This helps us keep costs low and maximize the benefit of donor support.

Our ReStores perform a valuable community service by diverting large amounts of reusable materials from landfills, and providing these products to the public at a fraction of the cost.
